Who are we?

"Berry Wind" is a family brand born from a mother's more than 15 years of experience growing strawberries and her daughter's enthusiasm to join her in 2018. We started with strawberries, but elderberry and sea buckthorn soon captured our hearts - plants that we want to bring into every family's everyday life. We create natural juices, syrups, jams and treats with the taste of home, simplicity and love. Each product is handmade, without unnecessary commercialisation, just as our own family would enjoy it at the table. Our team is strong: mother and daughter, father, sister, children and other helpers all help make this dream come true. We can proudly say that Berry Wind is a family story that continues to grow together with our customers and their celebrations.

Our story is also about Teodors

"Berry Wind" is a family story. And right now our family has a very important dream: to help Teodors, Maira's three-year-old son, who has the ultra-rare genetic syndrome PACS1.

Teodors has an opportunity to receive experimental therapy in the USA, which could help him develop and, in the future, live an easier and more independent life.

We are doing everything we can to give him this opportunity.

Dorupnieki farmstead

EXCURSION TO THE "DORUPNIEKI" FARMSTEAD

We invite anyone interested to join us for a tour of our farmstead and discover:

  • What elderberry is and how it grows. Where it can be used and how to use it correctly;
  • What everyday life is like for a home producer, including the challenges and the inspiration to carry on;
  • An opportunity to taste and see all the products we make;
  • How to make non-alcoholic cocktails using our syrups;
  • Depending on your wishes, the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing day in the countryside - have a picnic, go for walks, sunbathe or swim in the pond by the house, or take a ride in a tractor-drawn cart.

Excursions are available only during the warm season, from May to September. Duration: approximately 2 hours, including tasting.
